You can rest assured that Dutch Remote will handle your data with care. DR uses the appropriate (legal) frameworks. In Privacy Statement we explain how we do this.

DR collects and processes personal data provided by clients and candidates. Below is an overview of the most important personal data we collect and process:

  • First and last name
  • Address data
  • Phone number
  • Bank account number
  • E-mail address
  • IP address
  • Data about your activities on our website

In addition, DR collects and processes the following data with respect to our clients:

  • Trade name or legal name
  • VAT identification number
  • Chamber of Commerce number

DR complies with legal provisions and socially accepted norms and values surrounding data collection. Should you suspect that we do not or have not complied with these, please contact us immediately at info@dutchremote.nl.

Use of information

We collect and use personal data to provide our services. Therefore, we do not collect data that does not contribute to this. Personal data is collected for the following reasons:

  • To contact you in order to perform our services;
  • To inform you of changes within the services and products offered to us;
  • To send you our newsletters, unless you have explicitly indicated that you do not appreciate this;
  • To deliver any goods and services to you;
  • To thereby comply with requirements for the preparation of invoices (both paper and digital invoices (the latter after you have consented);
  • To verify and process financial transactions (such as payments and invoices received, among others).

In addition, DR collects and analyzes data regarding your visit to our website. DR does this in order to better align its range of products and services with the preferences and interests of clients and candidates.

Naturally, we also collect and process personal data if we are legally required to do so, such as data we need for our tax returns and compliance with legal retention obligations.

Sharing of data

DR will never share or sell data with third parties without prior express consent. We only share data with third parties if necessary to execute the agreement, and in the event that DR is required to do so by law or through the courts. DR enters into a processing agreement with third parties who receive the data to execute the agreement. These agreement(s) will be recorded in a register that can be viewed by you at any time upon request. Any reasonable written and sufficiently substantiated request for access will be honored. DR will respond to your request within a period of 14 days.

Cookie Policy

DR uses analytical cookies. These allow us to collect only anonymous data for the purpose of improving the user experience of website visitors. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.

Data retention period We do not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your data is collected. DR deviates from this only when we are required to do so by law, regulations or the judiciary. For most data, we generally apply the statutory retention period of 7 (seven) years. DR offers candidates the opportunity to delete the account created by the candidates (including history) from the platform.

Right to access data

DR naturally offers you the right to inspect your personal data whenever you wish. In addition, if you wish, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data. In the unlikely event that you believe that we have not done something right, you can file a complaint. You may do this with the national regulator, the Authority for Personal Data. Right to change data

DR naturally offers you the right to correct or delete your personal data.

Data protection

DR protects your data to the best of its ability. DR has taken technical and organizational security measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and modification. To prevent so-called data leaks, the following measures, among others, have been taken:

  • Server Security;
  • The computers we use are equipped with a virus scanner and firewall;
  • The application is securely encrypted;
  • Employees have committed to confidentiality.

DR will closely monitor developments and changes in laws and regulations regarding Privacy and Data Protection. In order to respond to these, we will update the Privacy Statement accordingly. Through our website we will inform you of any changes taking place.
